AI, you owe us.

I want to have a wee chat about AI Now that we are past the initial shock and awe think we need to really pay attention to the dynamics at play. We could use this moment in history to recognise the inherent value of all of the collective intelligence that we have created and ensure that AI pays us back while it suck jobs and electricity of the system.

The dividends can be used to provide a basic income for people, could be invested in our common infrastructure, and in helping to finance solutions to our common global problems.

We would never have to hear from politicians again “Soz, here’s no money for that climate change/biodiversity/education/health/public infrastructure initiative” ever again.
