I illustrated a book!

The kids of our world really needed a book about the amazing moa.

I enjoyed the process so much that I have another kid's book project in the pipeline - a book to help kids grapple with the concept of climate change.

Climate change can be incredibly scary and overwhelming for anyone, let alone a child.

We must be incredibly careful about how we talk to small children about climate change. Most books for kids about the climate start with lots of serious and life-threatening facts about what is happening to the world.

My book instead starts with what happened to us.

Young people need to be well-prepared for their lives with a hopeful heart and a vision for the change they want to see in the world.

That is the purpose of my upcoming book: to inspire them about creating that world and to reinforce the idea that we are all holding a piece of that big work. We will bend that climate arc together.
