THE SAPLING: The Badjelly Chronicles

What a delight! I got to illustrate one of New Zealand's most beloved stories about the biggest baddest witches in all the world. Spike Milligan's characters were etched in my brain from years of overuse of the book and the tape AND the record. It was such a joy to bring them all to life for this wonderful story in The Sapling by Gemma Gracewood.
